Though hobby time has been short this week so far I've managed to get a fairly considerable chunk done on the Leman Russ I've had on the work bench for quite a while now in the odd five minutes I've had here and there - I even managed a bit more work on the Ogryns which I did'nt expect to fit though it's looking like thats probably it for hobby time for this week now.
This Russ hull just needs it's exhausts, a a couple of other detail bits and markings, then I'll apply a little weathering as with the other finished vehicles. It's own turret however will have to wait as with the addition of one of the new Demolisher Kit turrets it'll be standing in as a Demolisher for my GT list this year letting me get on with some of the other models I need to get finished.

Is that highlighting painted or natural? Either way it's very good.
Looking good, Colonel. I'm really digging the Assault Cannons.
Just a word of warning; the new Demo kit is actually smaller than the old one. The hole on the old Demolisher hull will not fit the new Demolisher's smaller turret ring.
love your tanks, the highlighting is so sharp!
I've never seen front lights like that before. I like very much! The highlights are great too.
Like James said, the new Demolisher has a smaller turret ring, so you'll need to convert just a tad more to keep it from falling out. GW realized this error and made the old hull available as a separate sprue. It was either that, or retool the Forgeworld turrets!
Thanks guys :)
It's painted highlighting Col.Hessler, though it is flash photography as it was rather dark here which probably makes it stand out more then it naturally does.
James & Kevin, aye it's a pain but not a problem, it'll just not be secured, as I mention it's only a temporary measure, the Demolisher Hull (and the Russes Conqueror Turret) will follow once I've finished my current commissions and have everything else for my GT list ready ...so probably I'll start work on them sometime around Heat 3 next year! :-s
Kevin - The lights are greenstuff press molds from Rhino lights mounted on small pieces of plasticard, I really dont like the ones the kit is supplied with! ;)
Ah, Gravis.
What's not to like, eh?
lol well I guess if you've got issues with grey you may find quite alot to object about ;)
