On the Workbench - Vendetta
I'm taking a little break from my own sculpting projects for the webstore at the moment, because I've neglected my own hobby far too much of late, and as always there are deadlines!
Anyway, top of my project list is to get my Vendetta done, so here at last is some progress on it, alongside my Valkyrie hull. The inside is already painted, having been done at the same time as the Valk - its not just a case of getting the external paint job and cockbit finsihed up.

Nice and simple, it hadn't occurred to me to take the wings off... might steal that ;)
Oh and I like how you've blocked in the colours first, very similar to how I do it. I haven't painted mine yet so may... steal that too! hehe :D

Really good! The highlighting is great but I'm in awe of the engine outlets. Is that weathering powder or just black paint?
Russ, just seems to easiest way to me, given I dont use an airbrush for my painting - though I'm thinking I need to look into it.
Colonel Scipio, yes it is weathering powder, though not done brilliantly I must confess. I'll let you in on a secret, I'm planning on revisting all my finished vehicles and rebasing the whole army in the next few months before I resume work on further new things (aside from those which are already under way!). My force is starting to look a little tired, and I think improved weathering and better bases is the way to go.
Your work always blows me away so I'm very happy to see you back at the hobby desk. The original Valk almost had me painting mine grey to match, but I cant keep adding colours to the army! I love the highlighting on the first one certainly something I'm trying to emulate. Top stuff Gravis.
Very nice mate, it is good to see you back doing some of your own stuff. I'm de-doing some of my stuff as well as it is looking a little out of place now.
I have spoken to my Brother In Law and he is well up for it. He has taken some hoto's of my stuff to see how close he can get without it blurring, and trust me when I say he can get close. Just let me know when you are ready and I will do the rest.

Dai, your very kind, it does look better from a distance I'll agree, its a bit sploggy when you get close though, especially when compaired to work by the likes of Justin at Secret Weapon. I do want to improve!
