Its not all Kirton Games & Kickstarters!
I've got a few projects on the go, a couple of commissions which are near finished, one a skills exchange, the other some Guard character conversions.
I've even got a few projects on the go for myself and Curious Constructs, infact some which are overdue a blog post really.
A long time a go you might remember my original Life Guard conversions, more recently when the Scions came out I ranted and raved how these were perfect for a new generation of Life Guards.
Well my masters arrived back from the casters late last week, and I've done a quick assembly job while returning the bulk of them to go into a production mould - hopefully I'll have those back by the end of this month, but in the meantime...!
Test model! Im really pleased with the overall look, need to get it undercoated and figuring out the scheme next!

Dude, that looks awesome!!!
Gorgeous! Really dig how that turned out - nice work, man!
That looks pretty. Suddenly makes me wish I had the bits to play Praetorians.
Love the way those look. In fact you may make me replace my rough rider heads. :)
Nice looking model; it really changes the outlook of the mini and hopefully will not clash with the GW detailing.
I've copied Col Winterbourne and managed three with kilts and pith helmets. They look OK - like normal men in substantial armour.
Gasp! Double fist pump! Yes, so much yes! Brilliant work.
Fantastic work! Loving the new sculpt. Also am I right in seeing that there is a sculpted collar on the neck too?
Cheers chaps!
You are correct Colonel Winterborne, sculpted collar, had to be done!
The head is designed to fit the deep recess of the Scions, but would work elsewhere with a little trimming.
Just cant wait for the production mould to be done!
Oh, welcome back. This is awesome. Nice work, Gravis.
Holy crap. I have been searching all night for "napoleonic" heads for use with Scions bodies. I feel like they would be PERFECT for Solar Auxilia in 30K. I had just given up when I found this.
Nice beginning conversion, I wonder where does this head. It's a bits of who?
Bitz Store, they are a forthcoming product from my own miniature range, http://www.curiousconstructs.co.uk
