Curious Constructs - Anti-Tank Laser

I've been far too quiet as of late, and theres been a distinct lack of my own hobby posts. I do need to do something about that, and will do over the weekend, but to start off what I hope will be a whole lot of posting I hope you'll forgive me for sharing another work in progress piece for Curious Constructs! You may remember that a little while ago I showed proof of my inability with pen and pencil!

Well, I can't resist posting a quick and very work in progress shot of what is starting to emerge courtasy of Kit. To say I'm very pleased with what he's designing would be a bit of an understatement - and I'm hoping you'll share my sentiments!

Anti-Tank Laser ahoy!

Of course if the gun is a little bit too Steampunk for your tastes, switching the weapon, say to a GW Plastic Lascannon, will be a very easy conversion! ;)

Looks good. Maybe consider a different tail end to the chassis. I really like the look of your concept drawing.

Dont worry, the chasis is just a place holder at present, I probably should have mentioned that in the post!

I really like it! Will probably have to get one (or some...)! A few years ago I did a very similar concept sketch of a lascannon on a semi-feral Imperial world. Keep up the good work!

I love that look! Especially the(what looks like) spinning counter weights on the top.

Have you considered selling the guns and gun carriages separately? I can see this laser cannon looking equally good on the light gun carriage (with the wooden spoked wheels), and vice versa the gatling gun would look cool on this heavier carriage too.

Great work, its coming along very well.
I'm going to have to start saving some pennies in my hobby account again!

Certainly, it needs a split trail? Any chance of a limber? This looks marvelous, and I would love at least two.
