British Colonial Infantry - Ideal Plastic Praetorians?

I noticed this courtasy of Chicago Terrain Factory, and felt I had to post it because for those of you after Praetorians but not wanting to pay the high prices these may well be ideal - as long as you dont mind the lack of GW legality.

Anyway to cut to the chase take a look at the Wargames Factory HERE, looks really promissing, I think I'll order a box ($15 for 20) and see what their like me thinks!

They do seem to hold some resemblance to GW's Cadians. I wonder how close the scale is? If these Brits are a large 25mm, they will be a nice source of heads for IG conversions.

I totally agree. The glengarry heads and the fact that the pith helments are separate make for some awesome conversion ideas. I had at one time thought to make a squad of vets with glengarry caps. Let us know what you think colonel.

I think that sounds great Mike, as soon as these become available in September IIRC I'll see what they're like, scale wise they sound on the money with the metals from the discussion in the comments sections of the website.

Perhaps you couls cast arms with `not las-guns in them, or perhaps guns with hands which will fit the new plastics, like the new Necromunda figures.
