So what did you use to bulk out the turret? I'm using a Predator turret for my Chimeras, but I;ve felt that the Russ turrets are a little lacking in the "macho" department.

Thanks guys :)

Odie, the turret is just a basicly modified FW Conqueror Turret, the standard turret does lack something, hence my choice of going FW, the Cavalry tank which is the Conqueror fitting my purposes perfectly.

those r some awesome lookin tanks! btw the FW conqueror conversion, does it come wit jus the turret? or the whole tank head?

Thankyou! :)

FW IIRC do two Conqueror kits, one comes with just the turret (comprised of the turret, main gun, and a two piece hatch lid) and also a more expensive kit which includes a standard Leman Russ kit (at a discounted price).

Very nicely done, I think i might emulate it on my Malcadors, what colours did you use?

Col.Gravis said...

Hiya Captain! Does this mean we can expect updates on your blog again soon? :)

Basic colours used were a black undercoat, shadow grey basecoat, codex grey main coat and a fortress grey highlight, with the odd mix, wash or other colour here an there.

Wonderful work, simple as that.

I like your idea with the plasma annihilator posted elsewhere. I used said part to convert my Grey Knights Dreadnought into a plasma-bearing monster.

Your work is the kind of stuff I strive for: no unmodified model in the whole army, some built entirely from scratch. You should make the effort and design complete sprues which could be used to produce plastic Praetorians! I, for one, would support our new pith-helmeted overlords!
