Sounds like a good list. Who will you be playing against? Also where are the pictures, let's see those pretty ladies.

That's a solid figure count combined with a fundamentally fast moving aspect. Is the list for s specific purpose, or just general usage?

It's a general all comvers list, the army is a tournament force - and I will get some pic's up soon, the army is'nt finished per se, but it's in a useable state.

I do not mean to sound nasty about this, but what is the point of the Celestians? You have put together two squads of non-scoring, more expensive Battle Sisters that will be approximately 30% better in close combat. Considering they are (a) still bad in close combat, and (b) want to avoid close combat so they can shoot, this seems like a poor choice. Another squad or two of Battle Sisters would have been a better choice, as you would have had the same killing power, but more scoring units, and more points for the rest of your list. Celestians should only be taken if they are doing something Battle Sisters cannot (eg the Immolator spam list). I also cannot see the value of the Kraks, as I have only ever had my Canoness and Seraphim in close combat with vehicles, where an Evicerator makes even Land Raiders go *pop* in one turn. Just have the Canoness hover around the Battle Sisters and any half-smart opponent will keep his walkers out of her range, or so swarmed with infantry it is no longer a close-combat threat anyway.

The main point of the Celestians is their status as faithful units, while their other benefits are merely a bonus.

To explain, Battle Sisters count on their Veteran Sister Superior's to allow them to use Acts of Faith, as the units themselves are not faithful, if the Sister Superior is sniped through wound allocation, something I've had happen to me several times it can be damned fustrating and sometimes critical when you really could of done with using some Faith. The Celestians meanwhile are Faithful as a unit, meaning they are not vulnable to this. This in mind I use the Celestians to spearhead my attack or blunt my opponents, confident that they'll do what I need of them, when I need them to, while the Battle Sisters support them and hold the ground the Celestians take (or indeed hold my own objectives). Sure I could take Battle Sisters to perform the same role, but they simply would'nt do it so well, why use a penknife when you have an electric can opener?

The Kraks meanwhile are more of a filler for spare points, one which may or may not come in handy, dependent on the game, opponent and if I have enough faith or not, the Canoness & Seraphim are of course the primary uit for combat armour up close.

It was fab to see you guys up from Exeter in Lenton yesterday. I spoke with a couple of the guys who played you and they all had great games and enjoyed playing against the guard.

Thank you for your message on Warseer.

Nice list,as a sisters player myself I've found the evisorator on the Cannoness to be a less than ideal option much prefering a blessed power sword therefore not going last in combat.

I notice you havn't included 2 of my favorite troop types though. The sisters repentia (with an evisorator armed priest) and the penitent engines (i never leave home without at least 2.)

Both units give a serious Close Combat boost that the rest of the sisters lack, and with rage they can get across the table very quickly. However I see what your going for a pure sisters mechanised force and I always like to see a themed army :-)
