Leviathan (Part 3)

Hope everyones had a good christmas, I've been inactive the past few days eating far too much, drinking far too much and well you know how it goes!

But how with some time off it's time to crack on with the project again, the first result of that is some time spent on the Leviathan with a couple of extra panels added, some green-stuffing and plasti-card work, also turning my thoguhts towards the gun, just something to give an idea of the size I've got in mind.

I've also been working a little on my Blood Pact, and am working on the Malcador's weapons again. More updates soon.

Hey its me again, i was wondering what legs you used for your rough riders? Im thinking about getting some camels and using greenstuff to make the saddles, and then Preatorians chopped in half for the upper part, but I have no idea on what to use for legs, (Im awful with green stuff) please help a fellow Preatorian out...

thanks again and I still love all your stuff, itll be sweet when all that primered IG get painted, but good lord that'll take forever :)

My Roughriders legs were sculpted I'm afraid, if it is of any use there will be a version available through the Phoenix Club.

Otherwise the options are rather limited I guess, the standard IG roughrider legs are'nt terrible though they're far from ideal, another idea might be to tackle them as I did in my first Praetorian Roughriders, merely snipping the legs of a suitable model (say the Standard Bearer) at the top of the boots and perhaps the knee/thigh, glueing them together in an appropriate riding pose to the flanks of your chosen mount and then filling the gaps with GS, alot simpler then trying to sculpt.

thanks Ill try the snapping thing. do you think that maybe the gunners legs would work? with some GS of course...
